this registered tangible cultural property was built in 1917 using timber from the former Nagara Bridge.
The vivid vermilion color is striking.
It is said that Gyokudo Kawai, a master of Japanese painting, determined its location.
From the main gate of Gifu Park, you can see Gifu Castle on the upper left and the three-story pagoda on the right with Mount Kinka in the background.
大正天皇御大典記念事業として大正6年（1917年）に、かつての長良橋の材木で建築された登録有形文化財です。
鮮やかな朱塗りが目を引きます。
日本画家の巨匠として知られる川合玉堂が位置を定めたといわれています。
岐阜公園正門から金華山をご覧いただくと、左上に岐阜城、右に三重塔となっています。
The Nawa Insect Museum, a must-visit for insect enthusiasts, was founded by Yasushi Nawa, the discoverer of the Gifu Butterfly.
It is the oldest insect museum in Japan, boasting over 300,000 specimens from approximately 12,000 species, where visitors can experience the beautiful and mysterious world of insects. Located at 2-18 Omiya-cho, Gifu City. Phone: 058-263-0038. Open from 10:00 to 17:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (open on public holidays), and daily during summer vacation. Admission is 650 yen for adults and 450 yen for children.
昆虫好きにはたまらない名和昆虫館は、ギフチョウの発見者・名和靖が開館。
約1万2千種30万点余の標本を有する国内最古の昆虫専門博物館で、美しくも不思議な昆虫の世界が体感できます。

The Gifu City Museum of History, located within the park, offers extensive exhibits on the history and culture of Gifu.
In particular, the exhibits on Oda Nobunaga and Saitō Dōsan are must-sees.
